Hi, I’m Sana

I'm a Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist in Toronto, specializing in PCOS Management, Weight Loss and Fatty Liver and Diabetes.

My mission is simple: to help women feel at home in their bodies again—without giving up the foods and cultural roots that make them who they are.

My special interest in PCOS stems from a deeply personal place—a strong family history of PCOS and the struggles I witnessed growing up. During university, I was shocked to find that no one truly specialized in PCOS. I had to carve my own path—researching, studying, and connecting the dots to uncover the real reasons women struggle to lose weight with PCOS. After over 12 years in the field, I’ve mastered the core foundations that actually move the needle—both in science and in real life.

While I’m a dietitian—and I could easily say nutrition is everything—I learned early on that if your nervous system is dysregulated, you’re leaving 50% of your healing on the table. That’s why my work goes far beyond food. I teach women how to regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and build sustainable practices from the inside out.

To support this holistic approach, I’m also a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher, with advanced training in Yin Yoga (a truly life-changing experience), and I’m currently pursuing somatic studies to further support women in healing at a deeper level.

My professional journey has also been shaped by another core truth: during my dietetic internship, I saw firsthand how nutrition training lacked diversity and cultural nuance. Being a person of color, I made it my mission to create a safe space where women from all backgrounds could reach their health goals without abandoning their cultural foods.
